Visions Cookware Colors

I have spoken recently of Elena Martín Vivaldi, but now I want to bring one of his poems here.

GINKGO BILOBA

(ancient tree)

A tree. Well. Yellow
autumn. And splendid

opens to the sky, greedy
more light. Shout brightness
into the garden. And simple,
free, color pours
against blue. As called

grows, burn, lights
its old blood. Domina

all the air branch to branch.

All air, branch by branch,

the yellow lights
fullness of the tree.
shines so, only blue, swollen
a golden fire: oriflamme.
No flag.
Alegre source color: Clava
up his golden neck skyward.
so many centuries their desire
reaches us. Light from the East.
Amarillo. imagine yet
the wind, the rush
of their leaves, and off
clarity.
looming gray afternoon. Ni guess
loneliness, sadness
of its branches.
was certainly
joy - Fall! -. Faro
open of light. Homelessness

later. Where your beauty?

This poem is dedicated to Elena centenary ginkgo is in the Botanical Garden , on which are the windows of the library F aculty of Law where she worked as a librarian. Elena filed with this tree, which I did not know what it was called "an almost loving autumn after autumn, so that, having now retired and very old, the University honored him by placing under a ginkgo bronze plaque engraved with the poem.

But these verses that speak of yellow, branches that turn color in autumn, can also evoke another tree that blooms in winter: mimosa whose yellow cotton flowers in a garden far are the light of friendship and encouragement to keep going.

Mafalda Thanks.
