Dear sisters, dear brothers:
Happy Easter! Tonight
holy plunges us deeper into the mystery of our salvation.
Rescued from nothingness into existence
Tonight invites us to contemplate the first big night: night of nothingness, emptiness, darkness. Night in which the creative Word of God broke the darkness, making the light shine. Night is day for the Word continue to form the universe, displaying the most diverse forms of life, preparing a house, a dwelling that the order will be inhabited by the most dreamed of and more creature beloved of the Father creator: the man, the human, male and female, image and likeness of God.
Passover night shines on the nights and days of Creation. In the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, man is re-created. Risen Christ, Adam, started a new humanity that is on the road back to the Father's House.
Enlightened by the Word of God in the night of the Fe
This holy night we invited contemplating a second big night: night of faith. Night of humanity that without knowing even the Father God, look, the shadows, and groping, the truth about his origin, destination, on the underlying reason for their existence.
In the midst of this darkness, God comes to meet these aspirations, manifesting, revealing, enlightening the people he chooses among all peoples of the earth to be your witness ...
The night of Passover on the night shines of Faith in the risen Christ, God comes to meet every person who comes into this world handing in his Son, the final word, full disclosure. In the risen Christ we know that we are created by love the Father. The Father, in love, wants to share his life forever. The Passover of his Son opens the passage.
Freed from all the bondage
This holy night invites us to contemplate a third night: night of slavery. Night of an oppressed people, the people of God, a slave in Egypt. The first Passover night, night of release. God's saving action in history, freeing Israel from slavery, making him walk across the Red Sea dry and sealed with the Alliance: "I will be your God and you shall be my people."
The night of the Passover of Christ shines on the night of the liberation of Israel. The Resurrection of Christ is the new Passover which opens a path of liberation from slavery man's deepest. Released by water and the Holy Spirit power of evil and sin, born again in Christ to enter the new and eternal covenant, sealed by blood, and not many sheep, but the true Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
He Raised in a life full
In this holy night, finally, behold the night of the tomb, the apparent triumph of death. Night of the failures, disappointments, frustrations. "We had hoped that he who would free Israel, but three days ago since joining it "(Lk 24:21). Tonight
holy invites us to contemplate the mystery of the Risen Lord not only as his victory over death, but as our own victory in hope that he opens his resurrection.
The Passover night illuminates the mystery of our life. In front of all our searches, darkness, points, questions. Against all forms of pain, no sense of hopelessness. Against all oppression and slavery. Faced with all the anxieties and frustrations, the Resurrection of the Lord opens up hope and began his work in us from the moment we believe in Him and let His love, His Grace and Presence transform our lives.
For his dedication, his love has expired. He is one who
"being the form of God, (...)
emptied himself taking
server status.
becoming like men (...)
humbled himself
obedient unto death on the cross.
Therefore God exalted him and gave him the name which is above every name.
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow
in heaven, on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:6-11)
And so, it makes sense:
