MESSAGE FROM THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE CEU OCCASION the beatification of John Paul II

In the next celebration of the beatification in Rome unforgettable Pope John Paul II, we all remember with gratitude and affection, closeness and goodness of that honor us with your visit. If we remember
two pastoral visits March -31 April 1, 1987 and 7 to May 9, 1988 - Today we are surprised by his memory and his message adapted to diverse partners. Not only the people of Uruguay, but the entire human family, he feels, with different nuances, the gift that life has meaning.
The authenticity, consistency of values \u200b\u200band the relentless delivery to the realization of a more fraternal world have been experienced by all. As Pastor of the universal Church, in its specific support, Catholics have been privileged to enjoy their closeness, their teachers and their visits in special situations and different places. We witness his surrender until the end of its forces in fidelity to the Gospel.
