"How I feel, if I give it?" asked Judas to the chief priests, and they gave him thirty pieces of silver (Mt 26.15). Since the presentation of the Twelve, in mentioning "Judas Iscariot," Matthew tells us that this was "who betrayed him" (10.4). Jesus himself announces, "one of you will betray me" (Mt 26.21) and, when asked Judas "is not I, Rabbi?", Confirms: "You have said" (Mt 26.25).
Jesus looks like, betrayed by Judas. A kiss is the sign (Mt 26.48), which makes it even more sickening betrayal. Lucas reveals, with these words of Jesus: "Judas, with a kiss betray the Son of man!" (Luke 22.48).

Delivered by Pilate to be crucified

Jesus is delivered. At least that is what appears on the surface. But that's not all, nor is most important. Jesus himself comes. The Evangelist John makes the will of Jesus to give life. In his gospel that appears early in advance by the words of Jesus: "Therefore My Father loves Me, because I give my life (...) No one takes it from me I am voluntarily (...)" (Jn 10.17 -18).
But the clearest anticipation of this release and its meaning is in the words of the Last Supper, according to tradition collected by Paul and Luke
"This is my body which is given for you" (Lk 22 19, 1 Cor 11.24). Jesus does participate sacramentally

Delivered to reveal the Father's love
We return back to San Juan: "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life" ( 3.16). Jesus gave his life, doing the will of the Father. It is the Father who, in his love for men, has given his Son. "The proof that God loves us is that Christ, while we were yet sinners, died for us" (Romans 5.8).
Delivery of Jesus for us is, ultimately, the Father's will that Jesus endorsed. Jesus, who all received His Father, everything returns to Him The dynamics of the Trinity, in which the Father from eternity with love begets the Son and the Son, with grateful love, surrender to the Father all that he has received from Him, again to receive and re-deliver, ever, has entered human history. Jesus, the Son of God, sent by the Father, is delivered, put in the hands of the Father. Gives his life and will again, resurrected. Thus, both will be glorified, ie, will manifest the most profound truth: the love of God offered to us from the Cross, so that, through the delivery of Jesus, is offered to us the fullness of life.
